Happy Easter! I hope everyone had an awesome weekend. Like I mentioned before, I had three pretty delightful days off.
This year, I helped my mom decorate her egg cakes. We spent Saturday afternoon doing that instead of dyeing eggs like all of our other pre-Easter Saturdays. Still a good tradition.
I also baked up some not-from-scratch bread to go with my spinach artichoke dip on Sunday. It was a bigger hit than I thought it would be.
I woke up to a cute Easter egg hunt from P. I am quite literally one of the worst people when it comes to finding things. Little eggs included. So they have to be hidden fit for a two-year old. He did a pretty great job.
Actually, I might be worse than a two-year old. Our youngest attendee on Sunday probably did a better job than I did.
My niece shared some photos from her recent trip to Italy.
And my other niece passed the time on her iPhone. ;-)
Other than that, I spent the weekend making some good new things in the kitchen that I hope to share soon, sitting on the balcony, and trying to catch up on sleep. Happy Monday!
P.S. Easter three years ago.
