Around here, September still means beach days and pool parties. It used to mean school supplies, and I’m still sad it doesn’t require them any more. But it still means nice warm weather, and a little bit of the best of both seasons. So I’ll try to take it pretty well.
In August, I fit in some more pool time and another beach day. I also started keeping great track of what I’m eating (still working on being mindful, but I am tracking).
I took a lot of photos. I made a few healthy meals, and a few unhealthy meals…
Single tasking, bedtime, and patience are going to require more than a month. I am a work in progress — I’ll always be, for sure — but they’re still on my list.
This month, I want to have more balcony time, I want to read, I want to blog.
I want to stay in the kitchen and work on getting healthier things out of it. I want to remember to drink plenty of water, and aim to get in more steps each day.
I’m also thinking about decorating. I have a grown-up apartment and it could be decorated for the fall! And then for the holidays! It’s exciting and a little bit too much to think about. I’m still thinking about how to decorate in general. Like, the base layer before holidays come along.
But it’s still pretty exciting.
Happy September. Here’s to enjoying it.
