i got a special delivery from amazon today. it included a new modem, to go with my soon-to-be new internet connection. but it also included a certain movie. and two copies — for me and for my mom. so i rearranged my monday night plan of yoga class and had a movie night.
that’s right. twilight.
and sleepytime tea.
really, so good, i almost don’t feel sheepish mentioning it.
for dinner, i had oats. breakfast for dinner was the ticket to making monday a little easier.
i’m thinking about starting a small series. that’s what the title is about… i’m not going for 30 days consistently, and it might end with just this one. but i used to love oatmeal, and i’ve really gotten away from it. i’m thinking a little motivation.
bowl one: pb&j oat bran
it was really oat bran. it still counts.
- 1/3 cup oat bran, in the microwave with 1 cup water
- tbsp smucker’s low-sugar grape jelly
- 2 tsp natural peanut butter
it tasted like a sandwich in a bowl. and also made me want a follow-up sandwich. but delicious. grape jelly is my fave, and the low-sugar stuff tastes even grapier.
