i feel like i haven’t done a day meal-by-meal in a while. i think i’ll get the hang of it. these eats are actually from monday, not 1 23. but i like the date. what i ate wednesday is hosted by jenn at peas and crayons.
started off with a coffee. my coffee-a-day photos are done, but i keep grabbing my camera as soon as i grab my coffee.
i just stocked up my supply recently with a few fancy bold target roasts and a starbucks. first up: fair trade nicaraguan.
i had a breakfast cookie in my desk. it’s been pretty hectic at work recently. incidentally, i attempted to have another breakfast cookie today. but as i was describing how delicious it was to a coworker after getting all warm in the microwave, i promptly dropped it on the floor
EP and i got had lunch in the car. he gets wendy’s and i get sushi from the japanese place. not pictured: seaweed salad. pictured: avocado rolls.
from the shore on sunday, i had some salt water taffy. i haven’t had any in so many years! i think it might be a new kick this summer.
when i left my weekly target trip, i walked out to the parking lot into snow! it was so light when i started driving, but it was coming down by the time i got home. the roads weren’t awful the next morning, so i think it was a pretty good first 2013 snow. i hear jersey should get more on friday. just in time for a weekend of working and driving back and forth to a meeting! oh well; fingers crossed.
for dinner, i had some barley and mushroom tabatchnick soup… wasn’t great at first, so i added some grated parmesan. pretty good! i needed a light dinner. i need a few more in my life soon. i have to get back to finding my balance. :)
there were some other snacks throughout the day. and now i obviously can’t think of what they were. today included a little more taffy. and an adorable dinner with my parents — tomato soup, grilled cheeses for them, and a veggie burger for me. time for bed!
