last month’s goals went well!
1.) stress less. EP and i did get those delightful massages. work was trying. but i think i was slightly more mindful of it than i would’ve been.
2.) move. i set a goal of one yoga class and one trip to the elliptical each week, and i did it. i know that sounds small, but it was a great improvement. having a date to yoga every wednesday made me stick it out — we went twice one week.
3.) feel good about food. i think this one may have just started working in the last week. so maybe a just-past-november success. no problem. i’ve been trying to hold myself accountable to going to the weight watchers meeting every week. it’s a lot better for me than going once a month. i’ve been keeping a nice food journal this week, dare i say it, better than i have in months. it’s not devoid of indulgences or treats or enjoyment, but i am still with it.
some [one] of december’s goals are pretty overwhelming. but they’re all good.
tomorrow is EP’s birthday. :-) we’re celebrating with dinner. i didn’t plan anything crazy, but i’m excited for it. i don’t think he cares about birthdays and holidays like i do… but i think my excitement is rubbing off on him a little.
