we all drank sweet red wine.
i made a tofurky. [i really only wanted it for thanksgiving sandwiches. and that’s really the only place i love it.]
we celebrated thanksgiving at my brother’s house. :-)
EP had an allergy attack, and we left after dessert. but his rice pudding buffet was the stunning hit of the dessert table.
i ate delicious indian food with my friend jordan. i ordered paneer lababdar, obviously. i’ve been missing chickpeas recently. i think i’ll shift back to chana masala sometime soon…
i saw the last twilight movie! embarrassing: i completely nerd out over twilight. i can’t help it, and i don’t want to. english lit education be damned.
there was frozen yogurt. <3 yellow cake batter flavor. [i was the most reserved i’ve ever been. still was not happy with my success/non-success saturday morning, but i can’t expect different with a celebration friday night just before midnight.]
it was soup day. this is usually the day-after-thanksgiving tradition, but since it was moved to saturday, i went to work friday. i got out of turkey soup like i have for the last 3 years. but i got to share egg noodles, carrots, and onion. i just added kale and veggie broth.
EP built me a bonfire. and it was perfect.
