this is summer, right here.
i woke up on saturday starving. i thought about simmering oatmeal, or cooking some scrambled eggs with cream cheese. the eggs won out. and then i couldn’t imagine watching them cook for even five minutes before i got to eat them.
enter, my biggest foodie crush right now: fage plain 2% greek yogurt.
i was a chobani girl for a long time, and i’ll still grab a pot at wawa if i want some extra protein with lunch. but this 2% yogurt is overwhelmingly perfect. it’s creamy. and it’s not so tart that it makes my lips pucker.
it. is. creamy. it’s thick, and perfect just how it is. i love a bowl drizzled with honey, but i just realized it almost doesn’t need it. a few plain spoonfuls taste really nice, but it’s perfectly sweet with a little slice of banana, or a chunk of fresh nectarine.
hopefully i’m never this dramatic about yogurt again. but seriously: amazing.
