so I’m cheating with this post. the meals I photographed look almost like one healthy day together. but! it’s just because the very unhealthy part of monday went wholly unphotographed. tuesday was actually a really good for day (the first in a while). :-) and I have good plans for today. I’ve been struggling with taking care of myself, and I’ve been eating things that just make me lousy. fran is reassuring as always. and we’re heading back to weight watchers saturday morning. so I’ll get back on track and feel good again in no time. ;-) on to the food! it’s “what I ate wednesday,” hosted by jenn at peas and crayons.
I started off with a delicious espresso and almond milk. I’ve been neglecting my bialetti espresso machine, but that ends this week.
one of my favorite breakfasts is chobani 2% strawberry banana greek yogurt. so creamy and fantastic, for something like 3 grams of fat and 40 calories more than nonfat.
runner up this week was oatmeal.
there’s been a lot of snacking. I just started cutting into a super-sweet pineapple. it got a little more ripe than I planned, but it’s excellent. and I still have high hopes that it will make its way into some sangria in the near future.
last night’s delicious dinner was a double house salad from my favorite Italian place. I think I was just craving crunch. we also had bruschetta with mozzarella. I was too ravenous to think of photographs. ;-)
and finally, a little spoiler from sunday night’s dinner with mom and dad.
happy what I ate wednesday!
